Each month I will review the work and progress of several
501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporations operating within the Harlem
communities and the New York City area. I shall focus on
organizations whose endeavors contribute immensely to the
improvement of human conditions and enlightenment of minds, and who
manage to fulfill their missions, year-after-year, even though they
